Prism Executive have partnered with a global leasing company who are looking to appoint TWO permanent Senior C# .NET Software Developers to join their senior technology team based in Central Dublin. The successful appointees remit will involve design and development of both web and windows-based applications on an ongoing basis. They will collaborate with a range of IT experts from Architecture, Infrastructure, Business Analysis, Test and Desktop Support. As Senior Developers on the team, engagement and influence with peer system owners is critical to ensure any impacts are properly understood, documented, and mitigated against from an up and downstream perspective.

Education/Skills and Qualifications:

  • 6+ years' professional experience working in a Software Engineer/Developer/ Applications Management role.

  • Proven strong knowledge of C# ASP.NET MVC frameworks.

  • Experience with Visual Studio .NET and TFS.

  • Proven strong knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery.

  • Experience with Relational databases, preferably Oracle.

  • Experience in writing .NET Web Services and consuming Web APIs.

  • Experience with React JS, Bootstrap, CSS.

  • Good understanding of version control software (branching, merging etc.).

  • Proficient knowledge of the full SDLC.

A snapshot of key responsibilities as a Senior Software Developer would be solution design, interpret and correctly implement business requirements and providing estimates of work to assist in project planning activity.

  • Complete tasks, reporting status and work assignments in a timely fashion.

  • Quality first environment, developing a clean code base and working with the test team to ensure the appropriate levels of testing and timely defect management and resolution.

  • Support business users through User Acceptance Testing.

  • Accurately document technical designs, constraints and code base to facilitate knowledge repository, cross training and impact assessments

  • Ensure compliance with all organisational, legal, regulatory and department standards including SOX compliance and Security.

Hybrid working office involves a 4 day per week office based which will include a people first culture of free daily lunches, an on-site gym and 30 days holidays plus national holidays.
