Reporting to the Group Head of Transport, the role is responsible for the end-to-end management for the Skip and Bag Transport division ensuring exceptional customer service is provided at all times and  collections are completed within agreed service level timelines.

 

You will be responsible for Key Performance Indicator recording, review and improvement, and working with all functions to ensure continuous improvement across all areas.

 

You will support the Customer Services team to ensure queries and issues are resolved quickly and efficiently and within agreed service level timelines.

 

Recruitment, Management, Training and Engagement with the driver network is critical to ensure a safe, focused, driven and engaged workforce, which supports the overriding drive for excellence across the entire business.

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

·       Routing of Customer Orders

·       Management of driver colleagues

·       Performance Management of driver colleagues

·       Absence Management

·       Induction and Training for new colleagues

·       Driver colleague engagement

·       Accident Reporting and Investigation

·       Recruitment of driver colleagues

·       Resource level Management

·       Vehicle Requirement

·       Mandatory ongoing training of all colleagues

·       Health and Safety requirements and initiatives

·       PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) Management

·       Key Performance and Metric recording and recommendations

·       Departmental Initiatives and Projects

·       Fiscal Budget Management and Preparation
