COMMERICAL MANAGER | INDUSTRIAL SOLUTIONS | DUBLIN



A leading Industrial Solutions client have retained Prism Executive to appoint a Commercial Manager to join their Irish entity and grow out their business in Ireland. They will be an experienced commercial manager and hold a seat on the senior management team, leading and coordinating the management of all customer requirements.


Reporting into the General Manager the role holder will also work across a number of different business areas, and will be expected to have experience of managing group-wide supply agreements.

Holding a unique skill when engaging with other internal stakeholders the role holder will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of all customer projects with the overall objective of maximising the profitability and contribution to the business.


The appointee will be a key contributor in ensuring all projects are delivered, meeting project framework and timelines with first in class attention to detail upon presentation. They will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, operations, purchasing and logistics, to ensure the seamless execution of sales initiatives and the delivery of exceptional customer service.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a sales strategy to facilitate strategic plans to ensure profitable growth in conjunction with the senior management team.

  • Develop pricing strategies and promotional activities to drive sales growth.

  • Meet with key customers, assists sales team with maintaining relationships, negotiating and closing deals.

  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers and partners.

  • Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to optimize efficiency and productivity.

  • Monitor and analyse key performance indicators to track progress and make data-driven decisions.

  • Oversee daily operations of the company to ensure goals are met.

  • Coordinate with different departments to ensure smooth operations. Lead and manage a team of department heads and employees to ensure smooth operations.

  • Manage a team of employees and provide guidance, mentoring and support.

  • Assist in implementation of company safety policy and requirements.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, or related field. Master's degree is an advantage.

  • Minimum 5 – 8 years’ experience in a similar role.

  • Proven experience in operations management or a similar role.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Ability to analyse data and make data-driven decisions.

  • Knowledge of industry best practices and trends.

  • Experience in budgeting and financial management.

  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

  • Strong budget management and project management expertise

  • Proven people management and communication skills.

  • Analysis and interpretation of commercial information.

  • Ability to forecast and plan commercial information.
