BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT PROJECT MANAGER | EVENT PRODUCTION | ONSITE DUBLIN

The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 5+ years industry experience and be comfortable managing a project from start to finish including taking briefs/enquires from clients, planning with in house designers and our production team to bring a job from initial idea to finished product.


This is a job that would ideally suit someone with a commercial fit-out/event production or signage background with a quick ability to learn on the job and a real problem solver that has an eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities & Skills:

  • Drive revenue growth by acquiring new clients while maintaining existing ones, aligning with portfolio and annual targets.

  • Aid clients in the creation of projects from briefing meetings to completion and post completion meetings.

  • Brief designers on graphic and print works as well as 3D design and configuration.

  • Work with new and existing clients to help deliver projects as required.

  • Ensure projects are budgeted correctly and work with the clients timelines to ensure the project is delivered as required based on budget and timelines.

  • The candidate will be involved in the creative planning and production planning of our built and graphic works.

  • A passion/knowledge for detail, creativity, production and construction is required.

  • The ability to instruct production manager of completed designs and layouts for workshop creation and delivery.

  • Liaising with suppliers and third parties, developing a good professional relationship and maintaining current ones.

  • A “can-do” attitude within a busy industry and a flexible approach to work.

Key Deliverables:

  • A continuously expanding and commercially viable new client pipeline, aligned to emerging market opportunities.

  • Quarter-on-quarter revenue and margin growth across key accounts and international markets.

  • New customer and supplier acquisition fully onboarded and integrated into operational processes.

  • Data-driven commercial reporting with clear insights on sales trends, margins, and KPIs for senior management.

  • Market penetration strategies that successfully open new channels, geographies, or therapeutic categories.

  • Improved supply chain efficiency through optimisation initiatives that enhance service levels and margin performance.

  • Delivery of budget commitments, including forecasting accuracy and commercial planning integrity.

Measures of Success

  • Revenue and margin performance meeting or exceeding monthly and annual targets.

  • Growth in strategic accounts, including volume, penetration of new lines, and improved customer retention.

  • Size, quality, and commercial viability of the product pipeline, measured by forecast value and conversion rate.

  • Number and value of new customer and supplier partnerships secured and onboarded.

  • Quality and timeliness of commercial insights provided to senior management.

  • Operational efficiency gains, measured through improved service levels, reduced supply chain costs, or accelerated time-to-market.

  • Contribution to international expansion milestones, including entering new markets or strengthening presence in existing territories.

Experience:

  • 5+ years industry experience with a exhibition, commercial fit-out/event production or signage background

  • Experience in business development, commercial management, account management, or product pipeline development.

  • Demonstrated success driving revenue and margin growth in competitive or regulated markets.

  • Background in working cross-functionally with procurement, quality, operations, or supply chain teams.

  • Strong analytical capability, including interpreting commercial data, forecasting, and building business cases.

  • Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.

  • Strong planning and organisational skills, with ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines.

  • Experience analysing commercial data and presenting insights to senior leadership.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, work both independently and collaboratively, and function well under pressure

  • Full 360 project management and team leadership

  • Cost-conscious and have a meticulous approach to quality.

  • Full client engagement and delivery of a best in class project meeting all deadlines

  • Growing the existing client base with strong relationships with other potential clients
