BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER | CORK/DUBLIN IRELAND



A global Industrial Solutions organisation have retained Prism Executive to appoint a Business Development Manager to join their Senior Sales Team in the Cork region of Ireland. The successful appointee will report to the General Manager and collaborate with effectiveness in cultivating a robust growth strategy and paced scaling of the Industrial business across all markets including residential and commercial growing the regional sales and gross profit budget, delivering enhanced performance.


The successful appointee will work with existing and new clients to provide them with industrial solutions and liaise with the branch network to deliver the correct hardware. Expectation to develop and maintain relationships with the end user is mission critical along with manufacturers worldwide, and across the global network.


Duties:

  • Implement the business plan for the appropriate territory, linked to corporate sales strategies and convert this into profitable business performance.

  • Utilising the Arena model, translate the value and service proposition for all accounts into a practical implementation plan specific to the territory and ensure its achievement.

  • Provide account management for nominated accounts, which will include implementation of the development plan.

  • Monitor regional sales activities and ensure actions appropriate to the territory are taken to rectify any gaps between agreed and actual performance.

  • Provide management with required reports, information and feedback to contribute to the effective strategic planning, budgeting and performance management of the business in agreed formats and within agreed timeframes.

  • Manage and comply with customer SLA and KPI agreements

Experience:

  • A minimum of a degree in a Marketing, Finance or Purchasing discipline

  • Experience in managing people

  • 5 years Working in a fast paced Manufacturing / Service industry.

  • Experience of working with Microsoft Word, Excel is essential

  • Knowledge of ERP systems is desirable
