
Prism Executive have been retained by their global consumer manufacturing client to appoint a Vice President FP&A to join their Senior Leadership Team in Ireland and be an active member of their Senior Finance team.
The successful appointee will report to the CFO and collaborate with effectiveness in cultivating a robust growth strategy and paced scaling of the business across all markets. With full accountability for the FP&A operations in the business, they will play a pivotal role in all commercial and strategic planning, driving a change and transformation agendas across the business.
The appointee will manage a diverse stakeholder group across the business and will be a key contributor to the overall commercial and operational direction of the business.
Operational Deliverables:
The VP FP&A will lead the commercial Finance Team including Corporate Finance, FP&A, Capex/R+D investment, Commercial Finance and Business Intelligence.
Financial Planning and Analysis across the markets in support of the Senior Leadership Team when creating, driving and/or redirecting strategy.
Act as a support to the CFO and other senior leaders and managers across several processes.
Implement best practice across business and finance processes ensuring cost and performance make good business sense.
Provide analytical support and insights to the business leaders and their teams to make a strong strategic and commercial contribution to the business.
Ownership and responsibility for delivering the FP&A strategy, annual budget and latest forecast estimates
Ownership of the monthly Board pack and the provision of additional financial and commercial data up to and including Board level.
Support and scrutinise investment proposals and opportunities – foreseeing any associated risks.
Desired Experience:
Qualified Accountant with a minimum of 10 years PQE
Demonstrable financial modelling experience
Significant FP&A experience in a high growth multinational environment.
Proven team leadership, people influencing, and stakeholder management experience
Track record in successful Project Management.
Solid understanding of leveraging IT systems (ERP, Financial Planning Tools and Business Intelligence) to achieve best in class financial processes.
Technical/ Functional Skills:
Recognised accounting qualification.
Analytical – able to cut through multiple sources of data and discern actionable information.
Business acumen with an ability to understand complex business issues and add value to their resolution.
Act as a commercial business partner to the team to drive opportunity and awareness.
