One of the Ireland’s leading healthcare sales, marketing and distribution companies is seeking a Territory Manager to join their Skincare and Beauty sales team for the North and North West region.

 

The Territory Manager will call on a varied customer base across the assigned region including pharmacies, clinics, salons, retailer partners and other relevant sales channels. They will manage their territory and customer base ensuring delivery of strong sales growth in each account (year on year and to budget) and enhancement of the companies reputation and its represented brands in accordance with the company’s plans and direction.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Driving Sales – Selling in and Selling out

 

  • The Territory Manager is responsible for delivering strong year on year growth and in turn hitting their individual account and overall territory targets. This will be achieved through building relationships and influencing all key stakeholders within their customer base.

  • Drive rate of sell into trade customers and proactively influence rate of sale out to end consumers through proven sales techniques and sales best practice.

  • Maintain strong relationships with leading Retail and Beauty professionals and retail partners.

  • Responsible for identifying any and all incremental sales opportunities and where necessary, and where further action/investment is required report back to their line manager with a good business rationale.

  • Responsible for identifying new leads/business opportunities within their territory and turning these into actual sales.

 

 

Territory and Account Management

 

  • Responsible for an assigned territory journey plan, call frequency schedule and the entire customer base that falls within that territory journey plan.

  • Responsible for implementing both company and own plans and activities to achieve set targets within customer base.


 

Driving and Maximising Availability Of Stock

 

  • Implement agreed planogram (All Year Round, Seasonal and Promotional), monitor compliance and take corrective action to ensure continual compliance.

 

 

Displays/ Incremental Space

 

  • Merchandise stockholding to ensure the best and relevant locations in store to display the company’s products to maximise sales in and out of store.

  • Build secondary all year round and seasonal displays which add theatre and drive incremental sales. Ensure all correct and current POS.

 

 

Reporting and Administration

 

  • Responsible for completing reporting and administration to set deadlines.

  • Submission of weekly sales report to line manager as per agreed company format and content.

  • Submission of monthly territory business report to line manager.

  • Journey planning and call frequency schedule is to be created and updated weekly, incorporating specific Head Office demands.

  • Customer records and stock cards are to be kept fully up to date on hard/soft copy.

  • Orders to be submitted daily as a minimum as well as monitoring the status of orders.

  • Reporting of distribution, compliance and other account activity targets through trackers or Sales Information Systems / CRM.


Experience and Qualifications

 

  • Minimum of 7 years + proven territory sales experience within beauty or healthcare distribution, skincare / dermo-cosmetics or FMCG.

  • Proven ability to manage customer accounts, develop strong relationships and influence senior stakeholders.

  • Proven track record of new business development prospecting and conversion.

  • Proven track record of working on consumer facing brands, adding tangible sales value and executing best in class sales strategy and planning.

  • Up to date knowledge of best in class selling tools, processes, CRM systems and technologies.

  • Numerate, analytical and 100% commercially focused.

  • Full clean Irish driving licence.
