A homegrown Irish retail group have retained Prism Executive to appoint a Senior Product Manager to collaborate cross-functionally with the wider Go To Market, Buying, Creative and Marketing teams (amongst others) and externally work with the world’s leading brands along with technology partners to passionately drive the commercial performance of their E-Comm channel through creating world class customer experiences.

As Senior Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the organisation by translating the brand and consumer strategy into clear E-Comm objectives, defined roadmaps, product backlogs and ensure the on time/on budget effective delivery of projects and site enhancements to the highest standard. These initiatives will impact every aspect of our platform: consumer, commercial, operational.

Reporting into the Group Finance and IT Director and closely with the Head of I.T. Support and Development in ensuring delivery of a seamless OMNI channel customer experience across the business.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with key stakeholders to define, prioritise and deliver the E-Comm programme of developments and enhancements aligned with the brand and consumer strategy.

  • Work with technology partners to identify and scope the most innovative and commercially valuable developments to drive the consumer experience and key financial metrics for the channel.

  • Set performance goals for product releases and communicate these to the wider business.

  • Road mapping: contribute to the ongoing development of the product roadmap and strategy – constantly always looking for valuable improvements to the customer experience and prioritise them accordingly.

  • Customer Insight: Translate findings from regular quant and qual customer surveys, customer interviews and user testing activities into insights using this data to help shape solutions and product backlog.

  • Data Driven: Ability to make decisions based on data and behavioural information.

  • Competitor Analysis: Conduct regular competitor analysis and distribute reviews to the wider business providing internal stakeholders with market awareness.

  • Creativity: You’ll champion innovation and product differentiation to drive commercial success.

  • Integrity: The successful candidate will put customers at the heart of decision making and will always look to make the correct decision.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, define and deliver product updates and features that deliver an epic customer experience.

  • Responsible for Test co-ordination, Release Management, co-ordination with the business IT roadmap and release plan, support with end-to-end testing

About you:

  • Minimum 4 years’ proven experience as a Senior Product manager in a consumer / retail ecommerce environment.

  • Experience of working and managing 3rd party tech partners

  • Track record of high-performance delivery of technology developments and projects working with internal teams and external technology and brand partners.

  • Ability to define and deliver a roadmap, translate user stories/requirements and manage backlog.

  • Strong, confident communicator with stakeholders at various levels, including C-level.

  • Strong understanding & knowledge of UI/UX and eCommerce Platforms.

  • Experience working with composable/ headless Commerce (PWAs)

  • Have used Atlassian products such as Jira or Confluence.

  • Desirable: MS D365, Tableau & Salesforce knowledge.
