This is an exciting opportunity to join a progressive, growing, and forward-thinking Facilities Services organisation based in Dublin West as a Senior Operations Manager.

This role would suit an experienced Operations Manager with experience in the facility/logistics industry managing a division with 25 drivers, team leaders, and office based administrators.
Responsibilities
Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and supervise the extensive team.
Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Delegation, time management, and prioritisation of tasks.
Recruit, select, train, assign, schedule, and discipline employees.
Operational Excellence:
Improve operational management systems, processes, and best practices.
Supervise the Company’s supply chain and inventory.
Develop and implement operational strategies to optimise service routes and schedules.
Manage vendors and suppliers relationships including order management
Lead all acquisition integrations in their totality – operationally, systems, financial, people, IT, vehicles, and branding.
Liaising with other central functions to assist where necessary
Compliance and Safety:
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures, whilst at all times complying with legal regulations.
Implement and enforce safety protocols to minimise accidents and hazards within the workplace.
Ensure all training requirements for staff are complied with, both office and field based
Ensure client compliance with relevant standards and requirements, including document control
Customer Relations:
Maintain strong relationships with customers and address their inquiries and concerns promptly.
Identify opportunities for service improvement and recommend changes based on customer feedback.
Budget Management:
·Develop and manage the operational budget, ensuring cost-effective operations and adherence to financial targets.
Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising service quality.
Examine the Company’s financial data and use your findings to improve profitability.
Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and evaluate operational efficiency.
Maintain accurate records of waste collection, disposal, and recycling activities.
Requirements
5 years of experience in a similar role within facilities/logistics
Have taken the lead in Acquisition Integrations, being involved in overseeing the projects and from a hands-on perspective.
Experience of working with customer service, commercial and finance teams at a high level
Ownership of Systems Upgrades & Systems Changes as part of ‘business as usual’ and through acquisition integration.
Proven track record reporting to Senior Management/ Board level.
Experience in Recruitment for both field level operatives and office-based staff across all functions.
Track record of negotiating with key suppliers for products and services – procurement process and negotiation of contracts/ SLAs.
Highly organised and a track record of managing a growing/ scaling business.
Excellent communication, leadership, people & IT skills.
Flexible attitude to work and willingness to adapt as strategic goals change.
