As a key contributor to the executive team, the Finance Director will lead and manage a finance and administrative structure in Dublin to meet the evolving needs and opportunities of a dynamic and results driven organization.
Reporting directly to the Group CFO, the Finance Director serves as both a thought partner for setting long-term strategy and a day-to-day leader of the finance and working capital requirements. The person will also be expected to play a key role in supporting and evaluating all significant commercial or capital expenditure up to and including presentation to the Group Board of Directors.
This senior role, supported by the Finance team includes full responsibility for best in class reporting and leading an efficient monthly closing cycle. Budgeting and long-term planning including developing financial models, managing budgets, preparation of current financial reports and summaries. They will also be expected to build strong relationship with the other members of the Executive and to foster a business partnering minded ethos from the finance team. This business partnering mindset needs to be underpinned with strong governance and control and an open communication style.
The individual will also be responsible for leading out on the annual statutory audit, managing the relationship with the Auditors, and ensuring that the appropriate governance structures and control/review frameworks are in place to rigorously manage and report on all aspects of cost control and capital spend. The role also includes responsibility for working capital and cash flow management with particular focus on ensuring that the payment terms from the key Insurers are closely managed to deliver against agreed DSO targets and SLAs and that the Account payable portfolio is sensibly managed to improve liquidity and protect relationship with key strategic suppliers.
The individual will play a leadership role on the various EHR governance committees and ensure that the requirements of finance team and supporting enterprise systems are fully understood and considered as part of the implementation.

Scope of the role
The scope of the position includes daily management of the Finance Team; management and reporting of the financial affairs; business planning, review and support; treasury/working capital; tax planning; investor relations; audit, regulatory reporting and procurement.
Experience
Minimum 5 years successful Finance Director experience in businesses of sufficient scale and complexity
Successful experience in driving performance improvement initiatives
Proven People Leadership skills
Industry knowledge may be an advantage
Growth experience from previous employment, of successful expansion, Organic or via M&A
Effective negotiating and contract management skills with the proven ability to optimise margin
Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
Strong project management skills with a record of developing and strengthening systems and processes
Education
Qualified Accountant with 10/15 Years PQE
Masters degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance required.
Eight to ten years of experience in financial management required.
Experience of working with Private Equity or Infrastructure partners is advantage.
